Kathy W. Humphrey, PhD
Vice Provost and Dean of Students
Kathy Humphrey is Vice Provost and Dean of Students at the University of Pittsburgh. For the past twenty years, Dr. Humphrey has held progressive leadership positions in higher education. She earned a BA in Education at Central Missouri State University, a MA in Higher Education Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a PhD. in Higher Education Administration at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Humphrey aims to foster seamless learning opportunities for students and to increase occasions for students to interact positively with others in the university community. In addition to her role as the Vice Provost and Dean of Students, Dr. Humphrey has a faculty appointment in the School of Education. Her primary research area is focused on helping traditional-age college students find their purpose.
Angela Miller McGraw, MA
Angela Miller McGraw is the Program Manager for the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement at the University of Pittsburgh. Angela earned a BA in History and Political Science from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota and a MA in Religion from Yale University.
She previously worked at the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Social Concerns where she directed a series of community-based learning courses. Angela is interested in developing students who think globally, act locally, and strive for high ethical standards in their career, community, and in the broader world.
